Since April, Retro gamers are able to get their nostalgia fix on 100 classics for $14.99 thanks to the release of the Atari’s Greatest Hits collection to iOS devices. Android is now getting into the action with the newly released counter part by Atari.

In the Android Market, you can download the Atari Greatest Hits app and receive access to Missile Command for free. With 100 games available for the app, Atari has graciously broken them down into 25 separate game packs. Each pack costs $.99 and contains 4 games.

If you would like to purchase the entire collection, you can get it at a discounted rate of $9.99!

You can get the legendary titles: Centipede, Asteroids, Tempest, Battlezone, Black Widow, Crystal Castles, Gravitar, Star Raiders, Pong, Lunar, Lander, Super Breakout, Major Havoc, Warlords, Adventure, 3D Tic-Tac-Toe, Fatal Run, Quadrun, Casino, Swordquest, Championship Soccer, Football, Realsports Basketball, Realsports Football, Super Breakout 2600 and Hangman.

The Atari Greatest Hits app is compatible with both Android phones and tablets. The app allows for single player and local multiplayer. We also noticed a fair number of greyed out options and verbiage like “coming soon” this suggests to us that network support will be added hopefully fairly soon!

So is this leading to an Android compatible version of the Atari Arcade Duo or Android 4.0 game controller support?
