While Apple is looking for that fix to help the frustrated iPhone 4S customers who are having issues with their battery issues, an audio problem has been reported. The problem rears its ugly head when using wired headsets on the iPhone 4S.  Some users are experiencing an echo on calls.

When a user makes a call and using a wired headset, either from Apple or 3rd party headsets, there is an echo that occurs at random times during a phone call. This problem was reported on the Apple’s support forum and verified by a number of sites. Apple has not yet commented on the issue.

There is some work-around for this issue. One of the more simple ones would be not to use a wired headset on calls. A temporary fix would be to unplug the headset and plug it back in when the echo occurs, or simply by turning on the speakerphone and turning it off. So try these tricks and let us know if this helps!
