iOS 5 Jailbroken Before Launch

The well-known iPhone Dev-Team member, MuscleNerd got his hands on an early release of the iOS 5, and guesses what: he already jailbroken it. Apparently, Cydia and other apps like MyWi and iSSH are working without any complains.

The iOS 5 will include a new app called Reminders, will also bring an updated notification system, a Newsstand app that will deliver users the info from all their subscriptions from the latest e-magazines, advanced Twitter integration and tons of other features.

For quite a while now, the Dev-Team members worked hard to allow users to install apps from outside the Apple App Store, and there were various concerns regarding the jailbreak susceptibility of the next iOS versions, especially since Apple is working hard to stop this process.

Either you are jailbreaking your iOS device to get access to apps that require access to iOS integrated API’s that Apple is reluctant to share or you simply jailbreak your iDevice to get access for free to tons of apps, this should be good news for you even though the iOS 5 will be launched on the market not earlier than this fall.
