The current cloud solution from Apple, MobileMe, already has some of these features and grants users up to 20 GB worth of storage for a 99$ fee per year. As a difference, the iCloud allows up to 5 GB storage with the difference that is free.
To set things straight, Apple announced the MobileMe subscribers that would facilitate the change to iCloud and will allow users to maintain their MobileMe e-mail addresses and move their data to the new service. As a bonus, Apple extends their subscription up to 30 June 2012 with no additional fees, but afterwards, the service is not supposed to be available.
