After sitting in the Beta Zone for some time and receiving a very good feedback, Twitter v1.1 for BlackBerry has now been made official and available for download by RIM. I was expecting for this update, because we haven’t had one for a while now.

Twitter v1.1 for BlackBerry has a few new features included in the update also like:

• Tweet Location
• Refreshed Branding/New UI
• Retweet Updates
• New Language Support

Twitter v1.1 update will also include some enhancements based on the positive feedback received during the beta. The update will be available for OTA update on BlackBerry App World in the next 24 hours, so if you don’t see it there try one refresh and if not, just wait.
