Google’s popular I/O developer conference has been sold out in an astounding 59 minutes, fact that left a lot of interested developers without a possibility to attend and since it is in Google’s best interest that the developers would be content and informed about the new stuff that is going to be introduced as much as possible, since in return many more apps will be developed, a solution was needed. That solution was streaming the greatest part of the conference over the internet.

Google will offer a live video feed from the main two session rooms each day of the conference form 9 A.M. PST to 6 P.M. PST that will allow viewers to watch the major keynote and training sessions for Android and Chrome. The parts of the sessions that will not be streamed are supposed to be made available the next day after the conference, as HD recordings.

Google arranged previously Extended I/O events that allowed developers to gather in groups in several locations to join watching the event from these remote locations.

As we said before, this is in Google’s best interest since the more developers are familiar with the new stuff that Google is going to introduce; the more apps will provide a better quality that in time translates in a better image for the Google products. We are anxious to see the things to come…
