BGR reported today that Apple is working on a new iOS update that is due to be released in the following 2 weeks. The new 4.3.2 iOS is said to contain a few bug fixes and some enhancements, so it’s not a major update, which brings us into thinking about why is Apple in a hurry to release a new update so soon.

Well, the rumors are that Apple has secretly hired 2 members of the iPhone Dev Team to patch all the existing exploits. If this is true, all the existing exploits should be patched in the new iOS 4.3.2, and we’ll definitely see some discussions between all Dev Team members.

On the other hand, with Geohot out of the picture, all the jailbreak work is on Dev Team’s shoulders, and without the iPhone Dev Team constantly developing jailbreak tools, who’s going to help the jailbreak community?

Either way, the jailbreak community will suffer great changes but hopefully it won’t be in the detriment of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users.

Nothing is certain at this time, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens when the new 4.3.2 iOS will be released.
