Microsoft and Windows Phone 7 are expanding as Redmond has given the green light to start the Indian Windows Phone Marketplace and Zune service, which could improve global awareness for the platform and its services, especially considering the Indian connections in the worldwide market.

Apparently the Marketplace is operational and accepting payments in Rupees, India’s currency, even though there was no official announcement from Redmond’s part. While this might as well be an early test to iron out the last couple of glitches, it’s on its way without any doubt. The more markets are supported and the more regions are added to the Live Services the better for Microsoft, manufacturers, carriers and last but not least, users.

The development opportunities are limitless and the only one factor that could allow us to see what is going to happen it is time. The development of the Windows Phone app market is surely to have an unprecedented ascension considering that Microsoft is the predominating OS on computers all over the world and most users tend to go with what they know.
