Microsoft released the highly anticipated NoDo copy-paste update this week. The update is available for the open market non-branded devices in the first phase of the update process and in the next phase, the update will be available for a broader range of Microsoft Windows Phone 7 users.

The step by step update process delivered by Microsoft is intentionally designed like this in order to have better control over the undesired consequences, and so far apparently the update process is looking good.

In order to help the users that wish to know when their update is coming along, Microsoft developed an update tracking web page that provides information about the current status in the update process and where your phone fits in. The site will be updated once a week delivering the users the latest status changes.

Apparently there are new phones that come with the update already installed, and all the info you need can be found on the Microsoft Phone website. We wish Microsoft all the best luck with the implementation of the update, and hope that all goes well.
