The HTC HD7 was made available on T-Mobile for about 199$ with a new contract but it seems that AT&T entered the game as well since it announced the HTC HD7S.

The HTC HD7S is announcing itself to be the largest screened Windows Phone 7 device available at the carried, joining the HTC Surround, Samsung Focus and the LG Quantum. It will delivered with the latest version of WP7 with the latest update already applied, just like the HTC Arrive on Sprint.

The AT&T’s HD7S will be available in the next period from the carrier and sport a 4.3-inch WVGA super LCD display, 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash. The specifications are the same as with the T-Mobile HD7, the sole difference being that the carrier is changed.

The question is if this will be the first step in the unification of device portfolios as a direct consequence of the merger between AT&T and T-Mobile.
