Jailbreak iOS 4.3 GM on IPhone 3GS, 4, iPad and iPod Touch 4G, 3G
The jailbreak for iOS 4.3 GM is currently tethered, which means that you’ll have to boot into jailbroken state every time you power off your iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad or iPod Touch 4G, 3G.
Follow the tutorial to jailbreak iPhone 3GS, 4, iPad or iPod Touch 3G, 4G running iOS 4.3 GM using PwnageTool 4.2 and the appropriate bundles.
Step 1: Download PwnageTool bundles for your device
Step 2: Download PwnageTool 4.2 and move it to the Applications directory
Step 3: Right click on PwnageTool and then “Show Package Contents”
Step 4: Go to “Contents/Resources/FirmwareBundles/” and paste the appropriate PwnageTool bundle for your iDevice ( iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G)
Step 5: Download iOS 4.3 GM for your iDevice and place it on your desktop
Step 6: Run PwnageTool and select “Expert Mode”. Then select your device.
Step 7: Search for your iOS 4.3 GM firmware previously downloaded and placed on your desktop.
Step 8: Click on build and let PwnageTool work its magic.
Step 9: Enter your iDevice in DFU mode using PwnageTool
Step 10: Start iTunes, click on your device in the left sidebar and then press “Restore” while holding ALT (Mac) or SHIFT(Windows).
Step 11: Select your previously created custom iOS 4.3 GM firmware and click OK.
Step 12: Sit back and wait for iTunes to restore your iPhone 3GS, 4, iPad or iPod Touch 4G, 3G to your jailbroken iOS 4.3 GM firmware.
That’s it! You have successfully managed to jailbreak iOS 4.3 GM on your device. Now, if you decide to reboot your device, you need to boot it in jailbroken state every time, using theteredboot.
