Another Snowbreeze update was just released by iH8snow, which brings support for iOS 4.2.6 and fixes the iBooks error.

Along with that, Snowbreeze 2.2.1 also brings Drag and Drop IPSW feature, for better and easier user experience.

The Jailbreaking procedure for Snowbreeze 2.2.1 is the same as  for Snowbreeze 2.2 r1, and you can follow the tutorial posted here and adapt it for the downloads from here.

You can also unlock you iPhone, if you jailbroken your device with Snowbreeze 2.2.1 while preserving your baseband, using ultrasnow 1.2

So, stop reading and start jailbreaking, download Snowbreeze 2.2.1 and get to work!

I bought an iphone 3g already jailbroken in iOS4.0 (8A293). My current baseband is 05.13.04. The situation is that I am quite new in this topic, and I was wondering if you could suggest me whether if I should or I should not jailbreak my iphone to iOS 4.2.1 right now. Some other questions are:What should I do in expert mode...? , is the procedure different compared with the preserve baseband mode.Is it worth it to upgrade or is it better to downgrade to 3.1.3?

For iPhone 3G i suggest you try Whited00r or 3.1.3. It works a lot better that way.

Hi Cosmin, my Iphone is a 3GS MC with the 3.1.3 firmware jailbroken and released with ultrasnow. Would you recommend me go to 4.2.1. version with snowbreeze or works best with version 3.1.3. on my phone. Sorry for my English. Thanks.

works ok on 4.2.1 too, and you'll have all the 4.0 features, including multitasking. Go for it
