PS3 Firmware v3.56 Will Block All Jailbreaks | Do Not Update!
Sony has just released a new Playstation 3 Firmware, v3.56, described as a “minor update”.
In fact, this “minor update” to v3.56 adds a security patch that blocks 3rd party firmwares, such as jailbreak firmwares from USB stick any other jailbreak that you might have.
So, if you want to keep your PS3 jailbroken do not update to v3.56, at least for now.
A new jailbreak might not turn up so soon, keeping in mind that Geohot has just received today a Temporary Restraining Court Order, and he will not be able to update his version of the PS3 jailbreak for v3.55
