A major update for Cydia was just released, introducing the a new feature entitled “ Manage Account”.

This new feature allows users to keep track of all jailbreak purchased and free apps from Cydia and easily reinstall them if you restore or upgrade your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. It works even if you buy a new phone, because it’s not related with the device ID.

Basically, you will have to login through your Google or Facebook account, and all your apps and settings will be saved to that account. All you’ll have to do if you restore or change phones is to login and tap install.

At this moment, the native Apple App Store doesn’t have this feature, which makes Cydia and Jailbreaking a lot more fun!

Stay tuned for more updates.
