Search iTunes and Find Similar Zune Apps with Windows Phone 7

David Tepper just released a new free app for Windows Phone 7, called “ iTunes Search” , that allows WP7 users to browse Apple’s iTunes Music and App Store.

Many would say: Ok so what? You can’t actually download the apps and install them on your Windows Phone 7 device!

Well, you can’t, but there’s another cool feature that can substitute. You actually can search the Zune Marketplace for related Apps, and download and install those.

Let’s say you would like to play Angry Birds. You just need to search the Apple App Store, find Angry Birds and set iTunes Search to find a similar App in the Zune Marketplace.

The app is pretty well designed and loads quickly, you can almost say that it works better then both native Marketplaces.
