How To Install Windows Phone 7 [ WP7 ] on HTC HD2 | Tutorial ]

I think most of you HTC HD2 owners are bored with the old Windows Mobile 6.5 and would like to install Windows Phone 7 on your device. Well, now it’s possible.

Note: We are not responsible for any damage that this does to your HTC HD2. This tutorial was tested but we can’t guarantee that it works for all HTC HD2 devices.

Follow the tutorial below to install Windows Phone 7 [ WP7 ] on your HTC HD2

Step 1: Download the Windows Phone 7 ROM and all the necessary files here.

Step 2: Extract all the files on your desktop

Step 3: Connect your HTC HD2 to your PC

Step 4: Install MAGLDR

Step 5: Run MAGDLR and select “ USB Flasher”

Step 6: Run DWI.exe to install WP7 on your device.

Done! You have successfully installed Windows Phone 7 on your HTC HD2

Possible issues:

To make sure that nothing goes wrong you should have HSPL3 installed.

If your device gets stuck with the HTC logo, press the reset button inside the battery case while holding the “volume down” button.
