Downgrade iPhone 06.15.00 Baseband to 05.13.xx for Unlock and Official iOS 4.2.1 Restore [ iPhone 3G 5.8 Bootloader ONLY]

The following tutorial will teach you how to downgrade your iPhone 3G [ 5.8 bootloader] Baseband from 06.15.00 to 05.13.xx. By doing this downgrade you will be able to restore your iPhone 3G to any official firmware through iTunes and will still be able to unlock it with Ultrasnow.

Follow the tutorial below to downgrade your iPhone 3G ‘s baseband from 06.15.00 to 05.13.xx

  1. Download the required certificate file here.
  2. Run Fuzzyband on your iPhone 3G
  3. Connect your iPhone 3G to your PC via USB
  4. Run i-FunBox and click on File > Applications > Fuzzyband.app then right click and then select Copy from PC
  5. Select the ICE2-06.15.00.cert file previously downloaded and copy it to “ Applications > Fuzzyband.app”.
  6. Disconnect your iPhone 3G from your PC and start Fuzzband
  7. Tap on “ downgrade to version 05.13.xx “ and you are done!

Check your baseband by navigating to Settings > About, and if it reads 05.13.xx you have successfully downgraded your iPhone 3G ‘s baseband from 06.15.00 to 05.13.xx.
