Unlock [ Jailbreak ] Windows Phone 7 using ChevronWP7 [ Tutorial ]
Unlock Windows Phone 7 is similar with the Jailbreak for iPhone, basically, after you unlock Windows Phone 7 you are able to install non Market apps at your own free will.
This Jailbreak for Windows Phone 7 is reversible, so if you want to restore your device to original “locked” state you just have to connect it to your PC and hit “Relock” button inside ChevronWP7.
ChevronWP7 Unlock [jailbreak] for Windows Phone 7 works with all Smartphones running Widows Phone 7.
Follow the tutorial below to Unlock Windows Phone 7 using ChevronWP7.
- Download Zune for Windows here and install it.
- Download Windows Phone SDK here
- Connect your WP7 device via USB to your PC
- Run Zune and sync your device [ Full Sync ]
- Download ChevronWP7 here and start it
- Remove the PIN lock from your device ( if you had one )
- Check “Ensure your phone isn’t PIN-locked” and “Install certificate on phone using Internet Explorer at http://chevronwp7.com/cert” and hit the “UNLOCK” button.
- Sit back, relax, and let ChevronWP7 work it’s magic. When the process is finished, your device will be unlocked.
Congratulations! You can now install non-market apps on your Unlocked [ Jailbroken ] Windows Phone 7 device!
