PES 2011 New Features and Updates
With Lionel Messi on the cover and some new features and updates, Konami is trying to regain the title of Best Football Simulator Developer. So here we present you the new features, updates and fan-requested improvements to the Pro Evolution Soccer series.
PES 2011 developed a better ball control even if it’s a throw-in, a pass or a shot. The passing is fully 360, so for a precise pass you really need some good skills because it has manual power and direction, misplacing passes happening more often. According to PES you are able to spray a 50-yard pass into an open space.
The Online Multiplayer League
In the offline mode, the managing or the interface have barely change, but PES 2011 made its online multiplayer debut, now people all over the world can compete each other by building the ultimate squad and bidding for the top players.
Body feints and step overs can be made using analogue right stick rotations and taps. The major improvement from Konami is that feints can be linked, meaning that you can map a series of ball tricks to the right analogue stick.
Stamina and Shot meter
The player’s fitness now can be shown by the Stamina and Shot meter so that the users know when a player is lacking performance on the field. A player with low fitness has all of his stats down and he is not able to shoot or pass properly.
PES 2011 is certainly an improvement from PES 2010 with the new features and updates, being a great opponent for FIFA 2011, but for Konami is still a long way until they overcome EA Sports.
PES 2011 will be released on October 19th and will be available on PC, PS3 and Xbox.
