Ultrasn0w | Unlock iPhone 3G / 3GS and iPhone 4 running iOS 4.1

If you want to unlock your iPhone 3G / 3GS / 4 running iOS 4.1 you must first install and jailbreak iOS 4.1 using PwnageTool.

The current version of Ultrasn0w works only with iPhones that were previously jailbroken with PwnageTool. Basically works with any iPhone that has the old baseband. If you managed to install iOS 4.1 on your phone without upgrading your baseband this will work for you too.

Follow the simple tutorial below to unlock your iPhone using Ultrasn0w.

1 Jailbreak your device via PwnageTool.

2 Start Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit > Add

3 Enter the URL http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com, tap Add Source and wait for Cydia to load the new source

4 Search for “ultrasn0w 1.1-1” and install the package

5 Restart the device and insert your SIM of choice
